These pretty bohemian danglies are made from recycled silver clay and wire, which is textured using real dried lily of the valley flowers and hung on handmade earwires. They are oxidised in the recesses to show the beautiful pattern of the flowers. I picked the flowers from my very own garden in Devon and dried them in a press.
The discs measure c. 1 cm across. If you would like a pair of your own with different patterns or flowers, please do get in touch.
Lily of the valley has the most amazing fragrance and has beautiful small white bell flowers. Because of their beautiful scent, they are used in essential oils for perfumery. This flower symbolises humility, chastity, sweetness, purity and is said to bring luck in love. It also means "the return of happiness" which is the reason why it is often used as decorations in weddings.
These items are packaged in a recycled pillow box or gift wrapped in a recycled white jewellery box with recycled wood pulp acetate ribbon. They are posted in recyclable packaging.
The earrings are made with vegan friendly methods and 100% renewable electricity. Recycled silver is a little more expensive but is infinitely better for the environment than newly mined silver!
